I had to share with you stills from a short film 'Leaning towards solace.'
Sigur Rós have given a dozen film makers the same budget and asked them to create whatever comes into their head when they listen to songs from the band's new album valtari. It is a creative way to allow people the freedom to do whatever they want and the results are beautiful. The film above featuring John Hawkes and Elle Fanning is directed by Floria Sigismondi and is Film 16 from the project. Other filmmakers include Ramin Bahran, Alma Her'el and Cameron Mitchell. Check out the other films here. They are all wonderful and powerful but this one just got me.
