Comparing last years to this…
House Of Holland
Never one for keeping it minimal, House Of Holland AW14 is a
daring and bright collection which features in your face teal, fuschia, and
shimmering metallic.
I need to get my hands on the Seventies inspired skirt suits
with embellished detail. Henry Holland – you are my dream.
Richard Nicoll
Richard Nicoll described his AW14 collection as, ‘extured, simplicity, ease, opulence, aspirational,
realism, modernist, romance.’ Androgynous and sportswear is his signature style and again, this was a theme running throughout. Comparing the collection
to smart sixth form wear is pretty accurate from my perspective; tennis skirts
get a grown up makeover.
Erdem
Gaping holes in delicate gothic influenced dresses with a
touch of sparkle throughout the collection is what Erdem is all about.
The use of baroque, velvet & lace fabrics and
embellishments capture the craftsmanship of Erdem Moraliogle. Feminine to the tee, it is every girls dream to wear something like this in their lifetime, right?
